The NYT's principle of "seeking the truth no matter where it may lead" was ridiculed by the political right and conservative media during the last administration. Their attempts to undermine independent journalism resulted, in part, in The Truth campaign.

The campaign had three phases: The Truth is Hard, Life Needs Truth and Independent Journalism for an Independent Life. See the work below and image links to useful sites.
