We talk about how the world's greatest e-comm site considers category entry points. Also about the story behind this year's holiday ads campaign, including Benedict Cumberbatch's 5-Star Ratings Theatre, and what the now full-funnel marketer is still trying to better understand.
One thing I missed in the creative is that it’s the same family featured throughout all the campaign spots. The father is featured on the treadmill and in the gift spot, the grandmother on the sled is also featured around the dinner table and seated in the gift spot. Same with the brother in the kids table spot, he’s seated across from the father in the gift spot. Funny how these things aren’t initially noticed.
